Our experience with Heather Quintans was better than we had hoped for. When we began searching through the hundreds of available photographers we knew we wanted something special to capture an incredible time in our lives. Heather’s photography caught our eye immediately because each photo in her portfolio spoke to us and told a deep story about the important events in peoples’ lives.

There was nothing too posed or unnatural, her use of natural lighting brought true artistry to mind. Another reason Heather stood out to us was the fact that other parents had voted her as SEATTLE'S FAVORITE CHILDREN'S PHOTOGRAPHER in Seattle's Child Magazine 2007. It was obvious to us why she earned this distinction when we viewed her portfolio but it was also apparent because Heather set us at ease during the first phone call when she revealed that perfect balance of professionalism and personality. She talked about her own children and we could tell that she deeply understood the importance of capturing our baby’s unique essence. She took the time to learn about us and the type of portrait we were hoping for. The result is that we are in love with the portraits of our baby.

We had our session when our son was 6 months old. He is just over a year now and we marvel at the works of art on our wall created by Heather. Our baby has changed so muchsince those portraits and we are so incredibly thankful that she captured his laugh and special sparkle on film. We can never get those baby days back but we have those pictures to treasure forever, thanks to Heather’s artistry.

To sum up our experience with Heather Quintans we would say this. Heather's portraits are more than just pictures. We have that moment of our lives captured forever. Looking at one of her portraits is an experience that instantly takes you back to that moment in time. It doesn't matter how much time has passed because all of your thoughts and emotions of that day are instantly brought back. She has given us the ability to see our lives and the lives of our children in such a beautiful light. Her talent shows through in her work as she captures the innocence of a young child, the connection only two brothers can have, and the love a family shares.

Mark and I looked at the pictures late last night. We were both speechless as we sat and looked at the pictures. It is unbelievable to me that once AGAIN you were able to catch as many great shots as you did! You had 3 moving targets and they are not easy to work with.

They look great! I love them. Even Mark who thought we didn't "need" more pics of Joey loves them! I have them all on the wall in the stairwell. They are the first thing and last thing I see when I come into the house.
